Bold, unnaturally-colored lips seem to be the talk of the town right now. And, when I read this Buzzfeed list showing a whole bunch of cool lips—many of which were emerald—I just had to hop aboard that train.
This is my first time wearing emerald lips, so be gentle!

Eyes-wise, I wanted something subtle and pretty.
I used two shades from the Pixi Fairy Dust Favourites loose pigments for the eye shadow with the lighter color at the inside third and the medium shade everywhere else.
I’m also rocking the thin end of the Pixi Crayon Combo in Super Smoky for the winged eye and Essence Lash Mania Reloaded Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
This look is all about those lips.
See how it has sort of purple undertones, especially around the edges? That’s because I used NYX Simply Vamp Lip Cream in Bewitching as a base.
Then, over that, with a lip brush, I applied the Fringe shade from the Urban Decay Electric Palette. I also used Freak from the same palette, a light green, at the center of my bottom lip for a bit of shine.
