I’ve had these Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Stripers for a while now and have been trying to think of something cool I could do with them.
See, they help you make nice straight lines on your nails. But what could I do with straight lines? I know! Plaid!
This is what I came up with. Plaid on the ring finger and thumb nail. I call this NOTD Sort of Plaid Nail Art because, well, it kind of looks like plaid. Sorta.
But I think it was pretty good for my first attempt.
Here’s what I used for the Sort of Plaid Nail Art:
- Sinful Colors Top Shine as a base and top coat
- Essie Nail Polish in Pretty Edgy as the base green color
- Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Stripers in Orange, Hot Pink and Silver, in that order
To get the “plaid,” I made t-shapes with each color.
While I liked the way this turned out, it wasn’t very plaid in the end. I think I’ll practice this some more. What do you think?
Have any cool ideas for these nail stripers? Let me know in the comments!
